Young And The Restless Scoop December 15: Article Stating Jabot’s Ceased Operations Has Jack Fuming – Cane Rejects Phyllis

The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Monday, December 15 reveals Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will launch his strike against Jabot and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).

Also coming up, the Abbott Communications launch party will begin. Plus, Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) will reject Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). And Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will defend her choice to Devon Winters (Bryton James) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).

Y&R spoilers tease Cane will pull out of his kiss with Phyllis. He’ll tell her it’s not happening, she screwed him over. “I told you, we could have been friends, from now on you’ll be my enemy.” Then he’ll walk away.

Y&R Daily Scoop – Lily Points Out Nate Is Also Going With His Ex

Phyllis will head into the main area of the coffee shop and run into Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks). She’ll tell them she’s going to the Abbott Communications launch party. Daniel will ask if she’s going just to stir things up.

“I’m going to have to go with you to make sure you don’t cause any problems,” he’ll add. Daniel will say he’s not going alone with her though and turn to Tessa. “Will you come with me?” he’ll ask. Phyllis will point out it’s a plus one, not a plus two. But Daniel will say he was also invited, so Tessa will agree to go with him.

Meanwhile, Devon and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will say hello to Lily, who’s sitting at the GCAC bar. Nate will come along and ask Lily if she changed her mind about going with Cane. Devon and Abby will look disgusted, when Lily says she hasn’t.

Then Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will come along and Lily will point out Nate is going to the party with his ex as well. Cane will arrive, followed shortly by Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).

At the ranch, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will ask Victor how he can move against Jack if there’s no Jabot to attack. “I don’t give a damn about Jabot,” he’ll reply. Victor will call Adam and tell him to get to the ranch. Adam will apologize and tell Chelsea he’s been summoned by Victor.

As he leaves, he’ll run into Jack, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). Jack will ask if he’s leaving already and joke that he shouldn’t be afraid of a little friendly competition. But Adam will say he’s got a war to wage.

Downstairs in the Jazz Club, Sally will say there must have been a mistake, when she sees that Phyllis is on the guest list. However, Billy will say he invited her. He’ll add he wanted to rub her nose in their success, but he also feels sorry for her.

Young And The Restless Scoop – Victor Wants His Reputation Destroyed

Guests will begin arriving and Billy will see Cane and Lily walk in. He’ll approach them and tell Cane he wasn’t invited and to get the hell out. Lily will say she invited him as her plus one. Sally will tell Cane it’s fine, he can stay. After Sally and Billy walk away, Lily will tell Cane not to look now, but Diane and Jack are staring at them.

Cane will look of course, and Lily will start giggling. He’ll tell her he’s happy to be there with her. Then Phyllis, Daniel and Tessa will walk in and Phyllis will glare over at them. She’ll move over to the bar and hear Cane telling Lily he and Phyllis are through and she’ll smirk.

Back at the ranch, Victor will tell Adam he wants to use Jack’s defensive move against him, using Newman Media. “On the night of the Abbott Communications launch party, what could be more fitting?” As Adam makes some calls, to put Victor’s plan in motion, Michael will try to talk him out of it.

“I want the reputation of that son of a bitch destroyed before he blinks an eye,” Victor will reply. “Don’t you understand? It’s them against us!” Adam will get off his phone and tell his father it’s a go. Victor will make a toast. “To Jack Abbott, the architect of his own downfall.”

Finally, Billy will introduce Sally at the party and she’ll make a speech, thanking their friends, colleagues and family. “Tonight’s theme, the dawn of TV, speaks to the dawn of a new communications era,” Sally will say. She’ll add they plan to stick to the truth.

But as she’s speaking, everyone will stare down at their phones. After Sally’s done, she’ll ask Billy what’s wrong. He’ll say it’s nothing to worry about tonight. Victoria will approach Chelsea, who will say she had no idea Victor was planning this. Chelsea will also be angry. “Once again, Adam just did as he was told,” she’ll say.

Daniel and Tessa will tell Phyllis that by the looks of it, Jabot is in real trouble. So, she’ll approach Jack, who will also be staring at his phone. “Jack, what’s going on?” Phyllis will ask him. “Is Jabot going down?”
